Kansas Day 2011

Pancake feed in Hesston with family. Then home to play outside in the warm weather. The sun was so bright and the sky such a perfect Kansas blue. Ronni explained to me that God wanted the sun to be bright as a candle for Kansas' 150th birthday. She is amazing! And then the highlight of the day:
Kansas Celebration at Kaufman Museum. They had so much to do:

                                                    make a miniature covered wagon
                                                    shuck some corn
                                                   candle making
                                                   old time pictures
                                                   guessing games
                                                   singing
                                                   horse and wagon rides
                                                   AND......

                                                        make your own medallions.
I'm sure I've missed something, but we were happily tired after 2 hours. Thank you for such a great day. Happy Birthday Kansas!
