We left around 2 on Friday for our second annual camping trip to the Kansas Relief Sale at the Kansas State Fairgrounds. Great weather!! We were set up in record time and headed to the Plants and Things booth. I bought Juliet grape tomato plants, Roma plants, two Caladium plants, some creeping Jenny and other border plants. Then off to Feeding of the Multitude!
Aren't they so big?!? |
We had hardly any line at all to stand in, then we sat upstairs for a different perspective.
After dinner, I volunteered at the Ten Thousand Villages booth....I had such a blast selling things!! I think I could definitely work there full time!
John David fell asleep no problem, but Ronni was still awake when I got back to the camper around 9:25.
In the morning we had pancakes and then went to buy some of the New Year's Cookies that John had made that morning. YUMMY! Off to the children's building and auction
Got home around 3:30..then a nap was had by all! so much fun!
Sunday = craziness
John decided that it was time to start remodeling our bathroom
The kiddos got to help too!
I hung clothes on the line, planted the tomato plants in the garden and made a flower garden in the front yard. What a great weekend!
